Bandar seri begawan: A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs, along with members of the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils, gathered at the Royal Mausoleum for the Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil. The ceremony, held on the morning of March 4th, was in honor of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Minister of Home Affairs. Members of the Legislative Council also took part in the solemn occasion.
