Bandar seri begawan: The Ramadhan Nightly Tadarus Ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman continued on the night of 3rd March, with the participation of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports delegation. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abd Rashid, Minister of Development, acting as the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The event included a 'Khutbah Gerhana' delivered by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran bin Haji Kunchang, as well as a Tadarus Al-Qur'an session.

According to Radio Television Brunei, for the female congregants, a similar ceremony was organized in a separate room at Istana Nurul Iman. Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, was present. The ceremony included a tazkirah or talk delivered by Dayang Hajah 'Aqilah Mukarramah binti Haji Salleh, a Religious Development Assistant.
