Bandar seri begawan: Tithe Distribution Presentation Ceremony, Ministry of Religious Affairs: The Ministry of Religious Affairs conducted a Tithe Distribution Presentation Ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The event took place alongside a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony and Tadabbur Al-Qur'an at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Mentiri, on the afternoon of March 14. During the ceremony, more than thirty-two thousand Brunei Dollars of tithe money was distributed to 100 recipients identified as poor and destitute, as well as 20 Muallaf from the Brunei Muara District. The distribution was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Islamic Religious Council has set aside over two million Brunei Dollars for tithe money distribution to support the poor, destitute, and Muallaf in the lead-up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year. This allocation was gathered from the Zakat Fitrah and Property Tithe throughout 2025. From this amount, over one million Brunei Dollars will be distributed to more than 14,000 poor and destitute individuals, and an equivalent sum will be given to over two thousand Muallaf.
