Mosque Youths Participate in Educational Visit to Narcotics Control Bureau

Bandar seri begawan: Drug abuse continues to be a pressing social issue, posing significant challenges particularly to the younger generation. In an effort to address this concern, the Mosque Affairs Department, through the Youth Affairs Division and the Syababurroja Group of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah’s Youth, Kampung Kiarong, organized a Religious Visit to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for male and female youths of the mosque during the School Term Holidays.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the visit aimed to expose the youths to the dangers of drug abuse and to instill awareness about the significance of adhering to Islamic teachings in maintaining personal and societal well-being. Additionally, the programme sought to enhance understanding of the role government agencies like the NCB play in combating drug abuse. The initiative also aimed to instill a sense of repentance and social responsibility among the participating youths.
