Bandar seri begawan: The semi-finals of the National Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Memorisation and its Interpretation for the year 1447 Hijrah are set to begin on Monday, 12th of January, running for three consecutive days. The event will take place at the MABIMS Centre for Al-Qur'an Studies and Dissemination, located in Ong Sum Ping Condominium. The competition will culminate in the announcement of results and presentation of souvenirs to participants and judges, scheduled for Thursday, 15th of January, at the Muzakarah Hall, International Convention Centre in Berakas.

According to Radio Television Brunei, a total of 75 participants have qualified for this semi-final stage. Out of these, only those who achieve a score of 85 percent and above will move forward, with five participants being selected from each category for the final stage of the competition.
