NCB Hosts Prize Presentation for Poster Drawing Contest on Drug Prevention

Bandar seri begawan: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) demonstrated its ongoing commitment to drug abuse prevention through education and public awareness at the Second Poster Drawing Contest Prize Presentation Ceremony. This event, aligning with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025, took place on the morning of February 7th. Organized in collaboration with the Department of Co-Curricular Education, the initiative aimed to foster civic awareness and drug prevention among youth through the medium of creative arts.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Aliuddin bin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education, presented the prizes. Awang Noor Mohammad Rahmat Dini Asa Bin Salim emerged as the champion of the Upper Secondary Category, while Dayang Aina Adriana Binti Ariffeen won the Sixth Form Centre Category. Themed 'Sinar Menuju Pemulihan" or 'Light Towards Recovery," the programme showcased the younger generation's commitment to the goal of a drug-free nation through their visual interpretations. The artworks depicted the journey from the darkness of drug influence to a prosperous future, emphasizing a collective aspiration for recovery and growth.
