Bandar seri begawan: The Opening Ceremony of the Tadarus Al-Qur'an throughout Ramadhan took place at the Surau of Istana Nurul Iman on the night of 19th February. The event commenced with the Fardhu Isyak Prayer and Sunat Tarawih, followed by a Tazkirah titled 'Hidupkan Bulan Ramadhan dengan Asmaul Husna: Ar-Rahman (Yang Maha Pemurah)' and concluded with the Tadarus Al-Qur'an session.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman bin Alidin, Commissioner of Police, Royal Brunei Police Force. A similar ceremony was organized for female congregants in a separate room at Istana Nurul Iman. The Tadarus was attended by over 800 uniformed personnel, which included members from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Royal Brunei Police Force, Department of Immigration and National Registration, Prison Department, Royal Customs and Excise Department, Fire and Rescue Department, as well as officers and Religious Teachers from the Islamic Studies Department.
