?13 foreigners were detained and brought to the Law Enforcement Division, Department of Immigration and National Registration for offences under the Immigration Act and Immigration Regulation, Chapter 17. The foreigners were apprehended during ‘Operasi Kabat’ targeting several rental houses in Mukim Berakas, and Mukim Kianggeh.

During the operation, 5 foreigners were believed to have committed two offences, namely working with a different employer, and overstaying in the country after their immigration passes had expired. Meanwhile, 2 others were found to be working using the Visit Pass; and another overstayed in the country after the immigration pass had expired. 5 failed to produce any valid document, overstayed in the country, and working with a different employer.
