Kuala belait: The Welfare Body of Penghulu Mukim, Village Heads, and Heads of Long Houses in Belait District, PEKERUPA, organized the PEKERUPA Carnival 2025 at the Jalan Sungai Kuala Belait area.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the carnival, with the slogan “Mapit-Mapit Li Long Belait” or “singgah-singgah tah ke Belait,” was inaugurated by Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Metasan, the Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The event featured a 12-kilometre cycling expedition and included sales booths by 60 local entrepreneurs, highlighting the “1 Village 1 Product” initiative.
