“Rangsiman” insists Move Forward respects democratic regime

Parliament, "Rangsiman" insists "Move Forward" will not overthrow the government, reiterates that the party respects the democratic system, points out that fighting the case is more difficult, and whether to establish a new party or not has not been discussed yet. Rangsiman Rome, MP for the Move Forward Party, said about the Constitutional Court's decision to end the investigation into the dissolution of the Move Forward Party and set a hearing for August 7 that we think that opening the investigation will lead to various facts, both evidence and witnesses, that will be considered by the court and we believe that it will lead to justice in the case. By Chaiwat Tuladhon, leader of the Move Forward Party as the leader of the opposition, he gave a press conference to the media and the public nationwide that there were irregularities regarding the witnesses, including the arguments and problems that were investigated and found that there was an unlawful acceleration process. The acceleration made the Move Forw ard Party not have the right to fight the case to the fullest. Personally, I saw the news of the court this morning. I have to say frankly that the Move Forward Party's fight in the case, which wanted to bring evidence to the court's consideration process, was not possible. It must be admitted that the Move Forward Party's fight in the case will be more difficult than before. However, it is still not possible to specify what the outcome of the court's decision on August 7 will be, but I hope that the outcome will create justice for the Move Forward Party as well. As for whether the verdict on August 7 is too soon, Mr. Rangsiman said that the Move Forward Party prioritizes the process more. He personally believes that the most important witness of the Move Forward Party is Mr. Surapol Nitikraipot, former president of Thammasat University and legal advisor to the Election Commission (EC). Therefore, such content cannot be overlooked. He wants the process to listen to all parties in detail. Of course, the proce ss is as hoped and there will have to be another discussion within the Move Forward Party because the party has not discussed this matter yet. Mr. Rangsiman confirmed that the Move Forward Party did not overthrow the government and was not a political party that wanted to erode and destroy it as alleged. He confirmed that it was a political party that respected democracy and wanted to see the country become democratic. As for the issue of amending Section 112 of the law, the Constitutional Court did not rule that Section 112 of the law cannot be amended, but it must be a proper amendment, which has a legal process. Therefore, the court's decision in the last round, ordering to stop the action, which to this day has not done anything further, it is believed that on August 7, all citizens will still be waiting for the conclusion of the meeting that is consistent with reason and how much the citizens will accept it. As for August 7, how will Mr. Chaiwat meet with party members about moving parties or setting up a new party? Mr. Rangsiman said that at this time there is still no clarity. Personally, he thinks that the news from the Constitutional Court that came out, he guesses that the party leader just found out, so he thinks that there should still be no clarity on that matter. But he expects that there will be an official explanation on this matter again and everyone will be officially informed of the facts Source: Thai News Agency
