Bandar seri begawan: The Royal Brunei Land Force is set to carry out Exercise Semangat Waja from January 21st to January 30th at various locations in all four districts.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Ministry of Defence announced that the public should not be alarmed by the increased movement of military assets and personnel through land, air, and riverine routes during this period.

The Ministry has advised road and river users to consider alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety for everyone. Public access to exercise areas is strictly prohibited to prevent any incidents and to ensure continuous public safety. Additionally, the Ministry highlighted the importance of not taking or sharing photos or videos of the exercise on social media to maintain confidentiality and the integrity of the operation.

The Ministry also warned that sharing unverified or false information is an offence under Section 34 of the Public Order Act, Chapter 148, which addresses the dissemination of false reports.
