Jeddah: The Haj Management Agreement for Brunei Darussalam’s Haj Pilgrims for 1447 Hijrah / 2026 was signed in Saudi Arabia. It was signed when the Ministry of Religious Affairs delegation attended the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Edition of the Haj Conference and Exhibition.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the agreement was signed by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, as a representative of His Majesty’s Government, and Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, Deputy Minister of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia at the Assila Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, a bilateral meeting was held to discuss Brunei Darussalam’s Haj Management Affairs for the 1447 Hijrah / 2026 Haj season. Also present were His Excellency Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia, serving as Acting Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah. The signing of the Haj Management Agreement is a continuation of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims’ Affairs Management Meeting held online previously.
