Bandar seri begawan: To seek blessings and ensure the smooth running of the Official Opening Ceremony of the First Meeting of the 22nd Legislative Council Session, a Mass Fardhu Zohor and Sunat Hajat Prayers were organized on the afternoon of March 4th. This religious event took place at the Surau of the Department of Councils of State.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, who is the Speaker of the Legislative Council. The gathering commenced with mass Fardhu Zohor and Sunat Hajat prayers, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasin and Doa Selamat.
