Temburong: The Offshore Oil Installation Platform Security Task Force, TF KPMLP, marked a significant milestone with the launch of its official Corporate Video at a ceremony held at BIBD Connect Labu in the Temburong District. The initiative was supported by funding from the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch event was graced by ACP Haji Hamri Aslan bin Haji Abu Hanafiah, who serves as the Acting Director of Operations Department for the Royal Brunei Police Force. The Corporate Video serves as a strategic communication tool aimed at highlighting the collaborative efforts between government entities, stakeholders, industry, and the community. It also introduces the role, function, and commitment of the Task Force in enhancing the security of offshore oil platforms and national waters.
The Corporate Video underscores the importance of maritime safety as a collective responsibility and aligns with the Whole of Government and Whole of Nation approach. The initiative seeks to boost public awareness regarding maritime safety and foster a more profound understanding of the Task Force’s mission in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests.
