Gadong: The Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, through the Faculty of Halal Science and Sustainable Tourism, has unveiled three new programmes aimed at integrating Islamic knowledge with modern scientific knowledge in line with national aspirations. The initiative was launched during the UNISSA Open Day held at the institution's Gadong campus auditorium.
According to Radio Television Brunei, in a bid to strengthen strategic collaboration and achieve global recognition, UNISSA is also offering Double Masters and Joint Masters Degree programmes in partnership with Universiti Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin. These measures underscore UNISSA's commitment to nurturing students as 'Khayra Ummah' or excellent people, fostering graduates who are knowledgeable, pious, visionary, and possess leadership qualities.
