In an effort to disseminate the use of Jawi with guidance in the Republic of Singapore, eighteen people comprising Lecturers as well as First and Second Year Bachelor of Arts students at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang University, Republic of Singapore visited Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School, 1st October morning.

The delegation was given a briefing session on learning and teaching Jawi at the school. The session continued with visits to selected classrooms to serve as examples of good practice and Jawi teaching strategies that can be used as a guide. The visit ended with a sharing session and presentation of souvenirs.
