Berakas: The MABIMS Centre for Al-Qur'an Studies and Dissemination, Ministry of Religious Affairs organised the final of the National Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Memorisation and its Interpretation for 1447 Hijrah. The two-day Musabaqah started at the International Convention Centre, Berakas, 10th February 2026.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the competition features five categories with a total of 25 participants, each category represented by five individuals. Categories 'A', 'B', 'C', and 'D' saw 20 participants reciting their memorisations. The event is set to conclude on 11th February 2026, with the competition for Category 'E'.
