Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs conducted a special event to distribute His Majesty's Personal Gift of Dates to heads of departments, divisions, and units under the Ministry. The event took place on the afternoon of February 10th and was officiated by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the distribution of dates is part of His Majesty's ongoing tradition of giving alms, which aims to provide a meal for breaking the fast to Muslim citizens and residents in the country during the holy month of Ramadhan.
