Sengkurong: The Women's Bureau of Kampung Sengkurong 'B' Consultative Council organized a Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony and donation presentation for orphans and asnaf recipients in the community. The event took place in the late afternoon on March 9th and served multiple purposes, including the commemoration of Nuzul Al-Qur'an and promoting the practice of reading the Al-Qur'an.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony included the distribution of financial aid and basic necessities to 26 orphans. The initiative reflects the commitment of the Women's Bureau to support vulnerable members of the Kampung Sengkurong 'B' community and uphold cultural and religious traditions.
