Kampung junjongan: A Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony was organized by the As-Salaam Mosque Takmir Committee in collaboration with the Kampung Junjongan Village Consultative Council. The event took place at the As-Salaam Mosque.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad Ali bin Tanjong, a Member of the Legislative Council. A significant aspect of the event was the donation presentation to 16 orphans from Kampung Junjongan. These donations were contributed by the As-Salaam Mosque Orphans Fund, as well as members and residents of the Kampung Junjongan Village Consultative Council.
