Bandar Seri Begawan: In a move to strengthen regional cooperation and enhance quality in Technical and Vocational Education, the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore, signed a Letter of Collaboration (LoC). The ceremony occurred in Bandar Seri Begawan on the morning of June 10th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. Signing on behalf of IBTE was Dayang Munirah’ Athirah binti Dato Paduka Haji Othman, IBTE’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Corporate. Representing ITE was its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Doctor Ang Kiam Wee. The signing aims to establish and strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of research, education, and training of mutual interest.
