Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Defence organized a solemn Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil event dedicated to Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. This ceremony was held at the Royal Mausoleum on the afternoon of March 11.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral Bersara Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and also as Second Minister of Defence. The gathering was a part of the Ministry's Ihya' Ramadan Programme, designed to honor the holy month of Ramadhan.
