Bandar seri begawan: The Lunar Eclipse, a celestial event that underscores the magnificence of Allah SWT, was marked with a special prayer service at the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque on the evening of March 3rd. The event served as a reminder of the divine power, akin to the daily cycle of day and night.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the special sermon during the Sunat Lunar Eclipse Prayer highlighted that Prophet Muhammad SAW urged Muslims to enhance their virtuous deeds during such celestial occurrences. This includes engaging in prayers, supplications, reciting zikir, giving alms, and seeking forgiveness. The prayer service was attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, among other attendees.

The Sunat Lunar Eclipse Prayer was not limited to the capital alone but was observed across all mosques, surau, and religious halls nationwide, reflecting a collective spiritual engagement during the eclipse.
