Bandar seri begawan: Alumni of the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme, SSEAYP Brunei Darussalam (BERSATU), celebrated its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of youth engagement with SSEAYP. The milestone was commemorated with a gala event at a hotel in Kampung Anggerek Desa on the night of January 2nd.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by His Excellency Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam. The celebration paid tribute to the alumni, community members, host families, and BERSATU's past achievements. It also highlighted the organization's renewed commitment to supporting youth development and expressed gratitude from the alumni to the community that has supported them over the years.
